Brock represents clients in the areas of wills, trusts and estate planning, probate, asset protection, business formation and consulting, contract drafting and negotiation, real estate, and selected probate and civil litigation matters. Licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 2003 and the owner of his own law firm since 2008, Brock strives to develop a personal relationship with each of his clients and enjoys working on a collaborative basis with clients to help them answer questions, solve legal problems, and, if necessary, navigate the litigation process. Brock’s goal is to deliver to each of his clients the sophisticated legal work they seek, with the personal attention they deserve.
Brock is a 2000 graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Spanish Language and Culture, and a 2003 graduate of the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. From 2004-2006, Brock served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul Brown, Senior United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, sitting in Sherman, Texas. Brock later worked for a private law firm specializing in federal court litigation before opening his own practice in Sherman.
Brock is a graduate of Sherman High School and a life-long resident of the city of Sherman where, growing up, he played baseball and participated in Scouting, earning the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Brock is active in various community service endeavors and, as an avid hunter and outdoorsman, especially enjoys working with Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Grayson County Whitetail Association. Brock has a particular interest in land conservation and wildlife resource management issues. Brock and his wife, Pennie, have a teenage son and twin daughters. The Benson family attends Grace Bible Church in Sherman.
